Sushan Zhang, DDS, PhD
Postdoctoral Researcher

​Sushan received her DDS from Guangzhou Medical University in 2016. Then she moved to Yonsei University in Seoul for her Ph.D. degree, where she’s working on exploring the morphogenesis mechanisms of Circumvallate papilla and the potential of taste bud organoids. In 2021, she got her Ph.D. degree and moved to Colorado and joined the Barlow lab during the pandemic. She is now working on Lgr5+ stem cell and taste epithelium homeostasis on adult mice tongues.
